RPA Staff Recommends Against Vacation Unit On Sylvan Street In North Chattanooga

The staff of the Regional Planning Agency is recommending denial of a request for a vacation home rental on Sylvan Street in North Chattanooga.

Dan Dykstra made the request at 332 Sylvan.

Sylvan Street is off Forrest Avenue.

The staff report says the request is not in character with the remainder of the street and nearby Forrest Avenue.



Planning Commission Defers Ruling On Large Apartment Complex On Shallowford Road

The Planning Commission on Monday deferred action on a large apartment complex on Shallowford Road. City Councilman Darrin Ledford said time was needed for the completion of a traffic study as well as for another meeting between the developer and concerned residents.
