Joshua Patta Has Two Goals For SM

Joshua Patta scored two goals to lead Signal Mountain to a 4-2 win against Sequatchie County in a District 7 A-AA soccer match.

The Eagles also had goals from Connor Apthorp and Brian Hodges, while Ryan Mosley and Oscar Mares scored Sequatchie County's goals.

Drew Godbehere and Stephen Heinichen each had an assist for the Eagles. 

Signal Mountain goalkeeper Adam Pickett had three saves.

Lookout Mountain, Ga., Raises Sewer Rates; Joins In Kudzu Fight

The Lookout Mountain, Ga., City Council on Thursday night approved an increase in sewer charges.
