A Family Dollar and a bank have been robbed on Highway 58.

The Family Dollar was robbed around 8 a.m. Tuesday by four black males.

First Volunteer Bank next door was robbed Wednesday morning.

At approximately 10:16 a.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to the First Volunteer Bank at 4757 Highway 58.  Investigators discovered that a white male entered the bank and presented a note demanding cash. 

The suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot behind the bank.  The suspect did not display a weapon. 

The FBI responded and is assisting with the investigation.

Garage Destroyed By Fire In Harrison Area Monday Morning

Fire destroyed a garage in the Harrison area Monday morning.
