Work Day On Saturday At First Cumberland Presbyterian

Saturday will be a busy day at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1505 North Moore Road. The day has been designated as CYF Pool Pride Day. Participants from 8 a.m. to noon will help spruce up the pool area for the summer, painting, weed killing, vine rimming, etc  From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the pool, there will be registration for a Cumberland Currents Swim team. And from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a rummage sale.
 
A youth fundraising dinner will be held Sunday immediately after worship.

The Italian dinner will help fund their projects and activities for the year.
 
A Women's Ministry meeting in the chapel will be Tuesday at 11 a.m.  Bring your own sandwich and the church will provide the chips, drinks and dessert in Fellowship Hall.

Tyecha McCullough, 23, Stabbed To Death At College Hill Courts; 2nd Person Hurt; Eric McCullough, 46, In Custody

Tyecha McCullough, 23, was the  woman who was stabbed to death at College Hill Courts on Wednesday night. Cohutta Bank On Highway 58 Robbed

For the second day in a row, a Chattanooga bank was robbed by a white male. Chattanooga Police responded to Cohutta Bank in the 5600 block of Highway 153 on the report of a robbery on Wednesday afternoon.
