Vince Dean Thanks Supporters - And Response

  • Monday, May 12, 2014

I would like to thank each and everyone of the over 12,000 voters that chose to vote for me in the primary race for Criminal Court clerk.  While I had no opposition in the primary, it still astounds me that I received such overwhelming support.

My party showed its confidence in me and for that I am very appreciative.  I look forward to the campaign leading up to the general election that will inform the voting public the difference in me and the Democrat nominee, who is also the incumbent.  I feel confident that the public will see that I am willing to take this office and provide it with the leadership that it deserves.

While the majority of citizens will never set foot in the office, those that are in the office day in and day out agree, changes need to be made.  They agree that a good sound manager is the most important skill needed.  I have those proven skills and will use my experience, along with the dedicated employees of the criminal court clerk's office to give the service deserved to our employers, the public.   I will give this office a vision and provide the hard working employees, in the office, with an ever present leader that they can depend on.

This is a very busy office, handling thousands of cases each year,  it demands a leader that supports the staff that handles each case.  Again, I appreciate the confidence placed in me last Tuesday.  It matters who governs.

Vince,
Back in the days when we wore the blue uniform and CPD shield, you always cracked me up. You are one of the funniest guys I know and it was a pleasure having you for a sergeant.

You deserve good things and I say good luck to you in the future election.  I have no doubt you're the right man for the job.
