The Honor Guard will be carrying a wreath from the front of the Cleveland Police Department to the Rescue building to place at the memorial wall in honor of Officer Justin Maples on Tuesday, May 20.

The public is invited to join in honoring Officer Maples on the 2nd year anniversary of his passing. He was a faithful servant of the city of Cleveland and a police officer passionate about his
profession, said officials. Officer Maples was killed in a car accident.

Participants are welcome to stand on the sidewalk between the museum and the Rescue building to observe the Honor Guard carrying the wreath. The walk will begin at 9 a.m. The Cleveland Police Department Honor Guard will walk south on Church Street and east on Inman Street, crossing the intersections of Church and Parker, which will be shut down for the walk through.
