Chattanooga State 2-0 In NJCAA Nationals

ST. GEORGE, Utah -- Chattanooga State won its second straight game Thursday in the NJCAA Division I softball tournament by defeating North Central Texas, 11-4.

Izzy McCurry was 3-for 4 for the Lady Tigers with a home run and four RBI.

Khadija Neely and Courtney Crawford were 3-for-4 and 2-for-4 with an RBI each.

Dana Horgan was 2-for 3 and Sharlene Godoy and Shelby Willard combined for the pitching victory for Chattanooga State (53-6).

The Lady Tigers will play Central Floriday at 4:30 EDT on Friday.
