A fire broke out at a house in East Chattanooga on Sunday morning, but firefighters were able to contain the damage to one room.
At 7:30 a.m., the Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 3014 Curtis St. It took four fire companies about 10 minutes to get the fire under control.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Damages to the home are around $5,000.
