Funeral Services Are Wednesday For 20-Year-Old Keiara Patton

Funeral services will be Wednesday for 20-year-old Keiara Patton, who was shot and killed last Tuesday at her home on West 14th Street Court.

Her boyfriend, Taylor Satterfield, is facing a charge of criminal homicide.

Ms. Patton graduated with the Howard Class of 2012

Survivors include her children, Heaven and Taylor Satterfield; mother, Amy Smartt and father, William Patton Sr.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. at Olivet Baptist Church. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave.
