Notre Dame Girls Win Tennis State Semis

MURFREESBORO -- The Notre Dame girls made short work of Union City, 4-0, with four, straight sets wins here Tuesday in the Spring Fling state tennis tournament at the Old Fort Park Tennis Complex.

The Irish meet Christian Academy of Knoxville in tomorrow's D-I A-AA finals, after edging CAK, 4-3, for the title in 2012.

CCS Ends Season At 25-4 After Loss To Upperman, 64-46

Chattanooga Christian led at the end of the first quarter and the half, but wound up losing 64-46 to Upperman High School in regional quarterfinals on Saturday night.
