Man Shot In The Leg On Union Avenue

A man was shot in the leg on Union Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 2302 Union Ave. for a person shot. 

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, John McCurdy, suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

Police do not have any suspect information at this time and ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525 or Crime Stoppers at 423-698-3333.
