Ambi Artist Meeting Set For June 5

Thursday, May 22, 2014

The next gathering of Ambi Artists Creative Cluster, based on the Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, will meet Thursday, June 5, from 6-9 p.m. at Heritage House Arts and Civic Center; 1428 Jenkins Road.

Admission is free.

Ambi Artists is a “cross-pollinator” where creatives of all stripes gather to reignite their creative spark.  Typical get-togethers include writers and poets, fine artists and sculptors, photographers and filmmakers, just to name a few.

"Creative clusters, where we gather as peers to develop our strength, are best regarded as tribal gatherings, where creative beings raise, celebrate, and actualize the creative power which runs through us all," said Ms. Cameron.

Those planning on attending are asked to bring a potluck dish, non-alcoholic beverage, side or dessert to share.

Although not required, participants may also bring a recent artwork or "work-in-progress" for positive feedback and further inspiration.
