Christian Brothers Ends Baylor State Soccer Run

The Baylor boys soccer came one game short of a Division II AA state soccer championship Thursday.  Christian Brothers freshmen Cole Cannon scored in the 68th minute to beat the Red Raiders, 1-0,  and win the state soccer championship.  

Baylor beat Father Ryan 2-0 on Wednesday in the semifnals to earn a shot at the state title. 

Colin Brewer had six saves for Baylor on Thursday.  

Baylor finishes the season with a 14-5-1 record. 



Region Soccer FInals Set For Thursday

Several area teams will battle for region soccer titles on Thursday.  The winners will host state sectional games on Saturday and the losers will advance but have to play on the road Saturday. County Commission Votes 7-2 For Rezoning For C&D Landfill At Harrison
