Christian Brothers Ends Baylor State Soccer Run

The Baylor boys soccer came one game short of a Division II AA state soccer championship Thursday.  Christian Brothers freshmen Cole Cannon scored in the 68th minute to beat the Red Raiders, 1-0,  and win the state soccer championship.  

Baylor beat Father Ryan 2-0 on Wednesday in the semifnals to earn a shot at the state title. 

Colin Brewer had six saves for Baylor on Thursday.  

Baylor finishes the season with a 14-5-1 record. 


Ado's Triple-Double Leads Hawks Past ABI, 87-62

ATLANTA – Talented post Abdulhakim Ado turned in a monster triple-double effort on Saturday, leading Hamilton Heights to an 87-62 victory over the American Basketball Institute. Lee Lady Flames Lose At Christian Brothers

A long and winding five-game road trip through three different states finally came to end on Saturday afternoon for the Lee University Flames as they fell to Christian Brothers University by a 76-55 margin. Investigators Found Trail Of Blood, Beer Bottles Near Site Of Slaying Of Riverman

An investigator said a trail of blood and beer bottles was near where the lifeless body of 46-year-old Donald Rogers was found in an aluminum fishing boat on April 24, 2012. Detective Robin Langford said when he arrived at the site by boat docks off Johnson Road the body was still in the boat. He said the victim's head and arms were over the side of the boat. Man Stabbed In Domestic Dispute On Sunrise Lane Saturday Morning

A man was stabbed Saturday morning on Sunrise Lane.   At approximately  11:41  a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at 309 Sunrise Lane.  Officers located a 45-year-old black male suffering from a non life-threatening stab wound.
