Christian Brothers Ends Baylor State Soccer Run

The Baylor boys soccer came one game short of a Division II AA state soccer championship Thursday.  Christian Brothers freshmen Cole Cannon scored in the 68th minute to beat the Red Raiders, 1-0,  and win the state soccer championship.  

Baylor beat Father Ryan 2-0 on Wednesday in the semifnals to earn a shot at the state title. 

Colin Brewer had six saves for Baylor on Thursday.  

Baylor finishes the season with a 14-5-1 record.

Covenant Women's Soccer Shuts Out LaGrange, 3-0

The Covenant women's soccer team notched its sixth straight win, and third consecutive shutout, with a 3-0 win over USA South foe LaGrange on the road on Saturday evening. Highway 58 Man Charged In Fatal Hit And Run In Dayton, Tn.
