Outdoor Service June 1 At Grace Episcopal

Friday, May 23, 2014

When June commences its annual bustin’ out all over, Grace Episcopal Church, 20 Belvoir Ave.,will follow suit on Sunday, June 1,and bust out of the Nave for the 10:45 a.m. service to celebrate Rogation Day, upon which congregations traditionally ask God’s blessing on their agricultural holdings and the annual yields thereof. We, as a not-terribly-bucolic parish, will take the opportunity to give thanks for our lovely grounds and to appreciate the created world and its many bounties.

For those who prefer a more traditional worship setting, the 8 a.m. service will remain indoors and follow the usual liturgy.
