Chattanooga National Cemetery Flag Pick-Up Volunteers Needed

Cherokee Area Council Scouts and volunteers placed over 43,000 American flags at Chattanooga National Cemetery for Memorial Day Observances.  The cemetery staff, Chattanooga Area Veterans Council and the Cherokee council is asking for the public’s assistance with picking up those flags.  The small American flags are rolled in bundles of ten and stored until the next year.  Volunteers can report to the cemetery office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. up until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

County Commission Votes 7-2 For Rezoning For C&D Landfill At Harrison
