Chattanooga FC Hosts Silverbacks In US Open Cup Tournament

The Chattanooga FC will host the NASL Atlanta Silverbacks Wednesday night at 7:30 at Finley Stadium in one of the biggest games in club history.    The game is a third round game of the US Open Cup national soccer tournament.  

The team upset the Wilmington Hammerheads on May 14 in a 3-1 win to advance to the third round.

“We are certainly underdogs in this matchup,” said board member Tim Kelly.
“So we're asking Chattanooga to rally around the team and come to Finley Stadium to cheer us on against our city rivals.”

“Our coaching staff and our players are seriously focused on this game,” said General Manager Sean McDaniel. “They know it is a herculean task, but they are committed to give it their all. We'd love for everyone who can to turn out on Wednesday and support our city and our club. Let's fill Finley.”

Tickets are $5 online / $7 at the gate.

Covenant Tops Sewannee 2-1 In Season Opener

 In the opening match of the 2015 season, the Covenant men's soccer team defeated Sewanee 2-1 on Tuesday evening at Scotland Yard with two goals in the first half.
