Training for Eucharistic Ministers and Worship Leaders at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 7555 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road, is scheduled for Sunday following the 10:00 a.m. service. Those interested are invited to attend as well as any existing Eucharistic Ministers and Worship Leaders who would like to lend a hand. The 11th Annual Pentecost BBQ is Sunday, June 8, following the 10:00 a.

m. service. Sign-up for sides & desserts is in the Narthex. You can join the pit crew beforehand, they will be slow cooking the meat over an open pit at All Saints House on Saturday, June 7, and there will be a Low Country Shrimp Boil around 6:00 p.m. If you would like to come Saturday, please sign up in the Narthex so we know how much shrimp to buy. DA Looking Into Issue Of County Commission Candidate's Campaign Sending Filled-Out Requests For Absentee Ballot To Elderly Voters

The District Attorney's Office has been provided with documents that a County Commission candidate's campaign sent filled-out requests for absentee ballots to elderly voters. Graham Says County School-City Lawsuit Settlement "Stinks," But County Commission Approves It

The County Commission on Wednesday approved a settlement of a lawsuit brought by the Hamilton County Schools against the city of Chattanooga, though several commissioners said they were not happy with the deal and Commissioner Joe Graham said it "stinks."
