Worship Leader Training Sunday At St. Francis Of Assisi Episcopal

Training for Eucharistic Ministers and Worship Leaders at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 7555 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road, is scheduled for Sunday following the 10:00 a.m. service. Those interested are invited to attend as well as any existing Eucharistic Ministers and Worship Leaders who would like to lend a hand. m. service. Sign-up for sides & desserts is in the Narthex. You can join the pit crew beforehand, they will be slow cooking the meat over an open pit at All Saints House on Saturday, June 7, and there will be a Low Country Shrimp Boil around 6:00 p.m. If you would like to come Saturday, please sign up in the Narthex so we know how much shrimp to buy. Jury Chosen For Hawk Murder Trial

Twelve jurors and two alternates have been chosen for the trial of Billy Hawk.  Hawk is charged with a cold case murder from 1981 involving victim Johnny Mack Salyer, who was found in a locked steel drum in the Tennessee River.
