Alex Birdsong To Play Baseball For Chattanooga State

Alex Birdsong has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Chattanooga State Community College, a member of the TCCAA Region VII conference. 

Birdsong is a graduate of Shelbyville Central.  

Birdsong had a shoulder injury that kept him out his junior year, but was on the All-District 8-AAA team his senior year and had a .370 batting average. 




Former Baylor School Golfer Alyssa Brown Named To 2015 Southern Athletic Association All Conference First Team

Alyssa Brown, a senior at Centre College and former Baylor School golfer, was named to the 2015 Southern Athletic Association All Conference First Team.  Alyssa placed third in the conference tournament at Old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro, TN with a three-day score of 236.  Alyssa was the leading scorer for the Colonels, who finished second in the tournament.
