Special Event Street Closures For This Weekend

ML King Blvd. between Broad St. and Georgia Ave. and Market St. between East 8th St. and East 10th St. will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 12 midnight on Friday for the Nightfall Concert Series.  The 800 block of Cherry St. will be closed at ML King Blvd. and will only be accessible from East 8th St.  There will be limited handicapped parking in the 900 block of Georgia Ave. on the Miller Park side on the meters covered with Orange "reserved" bags.

Reggie White Blvd. between West 19th St.

and the entrance to the Skate Park will be closed from 8 a.m. on Friday until Monday at 5 p.m. for the Chattanooga Market.




CARTA Announces Independence Day Hours

In observance of Independence Day, there will be no CARTA fixed route bus service or North Shore Shuttle service on Tuesday, July 4th. 3 People Shot At Citgo On Glenwood Drive; 1 Dies

Three people were shot at a convenience store in Glenwood on Monday afternoon. One later died after being rushed to the hospital. A second person who was shot went to the hospital by personal vehicle. Police initially could not locate the third victim, but later confirmed another had been shot. The incident happened around 2:40 p.m. at the Citgo at 101 Glenwood Dr. (click for more)

Erlanger Pharmacies Sold To CVS For $10 Million; Units At East, North To Close

Retail pharmacies at Erlanger Health System are being sold to CVS for $10 million, officials said. The retail drug stores at Erlanger North in Red Bank and Erlanger East on Gunbarrel Road will close.
