As a long time employee of Erlanger and resident of Soddy Daisy, I could not have been more pleased to see that Randy Fairbanks will be representing District 1 on the County Commission.  Mr. Fairbanks victory is applauded by many of us who work at Erlanger and who, unlike Fred Skillern, recognize and value the countless contributions Erlanger makes to the community every single day.

It was even more gratifying to see Mr. Skillern defeated after reading his response to the loss, which was, “I guess my kind of politics is over.

Congratulations to Mr. Fairbanks, on behalf of many proud Erlanger voters, employees, families, and friends.

Time To Target The Criminal

While we are in the mood to give up our constitutional rights, why not go after a few in our justice system that protect the criminal and not restrict the law-abiding gun owner?  I for one would be more agreeable to keeping some of these killers off the streets. Hensley Succeeds Henry As Soddy-Daisy Athletic Director
