PENSACOLA--- Three Lookouts' pitchers combined to shutout the Blue Wahoos Wednesday, 6-0. Chris Reed (3-1) continues to dominate Southern League hitters. He gave up one hit over 6.0 innings, walked a batter and fanned seven while his ERA dropped to 1.88.

Despite four errors in the the field, Chattanooga kept Pensacola from scoring.

 Darnell Sweeney and Ozzie Martinez homered for the Lookouts who collected 10 hits.

 Juan Gonzalez (two innings) and Hector Nelo (one inning) pitched scoreless ball.

The teams meet again Thursday and Friday before the Lookouts head for home to open a five-game series with the division-leading Huntsville Stars.

2 People Shot In Chattanooga Overnight; Dequan Duke In Serious Condition; Frank Russell Has Minor Injury

Two people were shot overnight in Chattanooga.   Dequan Jamal Duke, 24, was in serious condition.   Frank Russell, 22, had a minor injury in a separate incident.   Chattanooga Police responded at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday to a person shot at 2300 Wilson St.   The victim, Dequan Duke, arrived at a local hospital via a personally owned vehicle ...
