Fairbanks Thanks Voters In District 1

Thursday, May 8, 2014

I would like to thank all the citizens in District 1 who took time out of your busy schedule to come out and vote.  For those who put your trust in me with your vote, I am truly grateful.  Serving the people of this district is an awesome responsibility that I will not take lightly.

For the many family members and friends who worked tirelessly for the past four months, you have been a blessing.  Marty and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

There’s a lesson to be learned for those young folks who choose cross country as their sport in the fall:  It’s impossible to win a race in the first mile, but you can surely lose one in that same space. As anyone with much running experience can verify, the fastest person doesn’t always win.  Running smart and using a tactical approach with planned pacing often produces ... (click for more)
