Hixson Boys, Boyd Buc Girls Take Tennis Titles

Boyd Buchanan girls and Hixson boys claimed Region 3 tennis team championships Thursday.

The BBS girls defeated Hixson, 4-0 for its fourth straight region crown, while the Hixson boys returned the favor with a 5-0 win against the Bucs..

BBS girls improve to 11-3, while Hixson boys improve to 12-3.

Next Matches:  Boyd Buchanan girls will face Notre Dame in a sectional match next week.

Hixson boys faces the Signal Mtn-Central Magnet winner in the sectional also next week.
