Rhonda Thurman Speaks At Tennessee Valley Republican Women's Meeting May 20

Rhonda Thurman will speak about Common Core at the next regularly scheduled Tennessee Valley Republican Women’s meeting on Tuesday, May 20, at 6 p.m. at GOP Headquarters, 1428 Chestnut St., Suite E.  

Ms. Thurman is serving her third elected term for the Hamilton County School Board, District 1 (Soddy Daisy, etc).

First time visitors are welcome, and the meeting location is a raised, single story red-brick building katty-korner from Finley Stadium parking lot and on the opposite end of the building from Volkert.


Creative Discovery Museum Closes At 3 P.M. Saturday

With Census Rising, Erlanger Scrambling To Find Hospital Beds

With the census climbing at Erlanger Health System, hospital officials are scrambling to find available hospital beds. Rob Brooks, chief operating officer, said 12 rooms were opened up at Erlanger North in Red Bank. Brent Pickard Was Man Shot And Killed By Deputies; 4 From Sheriff's Office On Administrative Leave During City Investigation

Brent Pickard, 46, was the man who was shot and killed by county deputies on Wednesday night after a chase ended on Highway 153.. Four Hamilton County deputies were placed on leave, pending the investigation.
