Patterson, Denman Win State Four-Ball

COLLEGE PARK, Tenn. -- McMinnville's Brett Patterson and Middle Tennessee State golf teammate Payne Denman won the 44th annual Tennessee Four-Ball Championship here Sunday.

Patterson and Denman beat Brandon Caballero and Mitch Thomas, 4 and 3 at The Grove.

The MTSU players beat Lucas Tabor and Bodie Bible in a semifinal.

UTC Wrestlers Win 27-6 At Campbell

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team posted a dominant 27-6 win at Campbell in the final dual match of the season.  The Mocs finish the year with an 8-7 overall record and 5-1 in SoCon action, while Campbell dropped to 8-8 and 5-2 in league duals.  The opening match was supposed to put two of the top wrestlers at 125 in the SoCon against each ... 1 Person Killed In Accident Involving 18-Wheeler On Ochs Highway

One person was killed Saturday morning on Ochs Highway. Another person in the same vehicle was taken to the hospital. An 18-wheeler was coming down the mountain, and hit three cars traveling up the mountain. Ochs Highway was closed in both directions, and HAZMAT crews were at the scene.
