Grundy Man Wanted For Rape Placed On TBI's 10 Most Wanted List

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list, Samuel Arthur McCurry of Gruetli-Laager.

McCurry is wanted by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and the TBI for four counts of aggravated sexual battery and rape of a child.

He failed to appear in court for the charges last Wednesday.

McCurry, 47, has a last known address of 324 Borne Road in Gruetli-Laager. He is described as a Caucasian male with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his left cheek. He is approximately 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighs about 260 pounds.

Samuel Arthur McCurry has a criminal history of escape and drug possession. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of McCurry is urged to call TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463).

There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
