New Summer Bible Studies Beginning At Concord Baptist

Beginning the third full week of June at Concord Baptist Church, 7025 East Brainerd Road, two book studies will commence on Mack Stiles book, Evangelism. The goal of this study is simple: to clarify and explain how the whole church - not just gifted evangelists and pastors - speaks of Jesus.

Beginning June 17, the women's group will meet on Tuesday mornings in Concord Hall from 6:15 am - 7:15 am.

 Beginning June 19, the men's group will meet on Thursday mornings in Concord Hall from 6:15 am - 7:15 am. This is a 5 week study that will end the second full week of July (15, 17 respectively). Books will be available for purchase in early June.  Regiser with the church office.

Driver Crashes Into Forgotten Child Fund Building

T he Forgotten Child Fund building on East Main Street suffered an estimated $70,000 when a car crashed into it early Sunday morning. The driver in the wreck was arrested. Officials of the fund had to shut off electricity and water to the building. The fund provides presents to needy children at Christmas. (click for more)
