CFC Girls U14 Premier Win Region III President's Cup

The Chattanooga Futbol Club Girls U14 Premier won the Region lll President's Cup without having one goal scored on them.  A girls Division II group from Tennessee has not attended nationals in the past five years from Tennessee. 

CFC Girls U14 will attend the national championship July 10-13 in Greenville, S.C. to compete in the Final Four for the National Title. 

The team includes Lauren Barcelona, Lainee Bohannon, Avery Engles, Madelyn Ferrel, Arielle Fortune, Olivia Hoffman, Lily Hopping, Lindsey Hunkapillar, Renee Hutton, Julia Kaset, Lili Oren, Carly Pifer, Madeline Reap, Carmen Ross, Hope Sanders, Olivia Tawzer and Lynne Wright.  The coach is Jason Kaset and assistant coach is Hank Hopping.

Federal Jury Finds Gillispie Guilty Of 6 Counts In Sex Trafficking Case

A federal jury on Wednesday morning found Corrie Gillispie guilty of six counts in his sex trafficking trial. A Chattanooga attorney who specializes in wildlife cases says there was no valid reason for health officials to have euthanized a pet raccoon belonging to a family in Monteagle.
