Fishing Events Continue Into The Summer

Although thousands of Tennessean enjoyed the state’s annual Free Fishing Day on June 7, and the numerous events designated for youth, several events will continue through the summer months.

Invasive Zebra Mussels Found In Cherokee Lake

An invasive species has made its way into Cherokee Lake threatening to disrupt the lake’s ecosystem and clog the lake with harmful and unsightly mussel colonies. Applications for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency 2015 Spring Turkey Quota Hunts are now being accepted. The application period runs from Dec. 17 through Feb. 4, 2015. 2 Suspects Sought In Armed Robbery At Highway 153 Long John Silver's

Police are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery that happened Friday morning. Fire Causes $30,000 In Damages At Scenic City Concrete

Chattanooga firefighters responded to a reported structure fire shortly after  10 p.m. Thursday  at Scenic City Concrete Pumping, located at 2903 South Orchard Knob Avenue.
