TFWC Budget Meeting Is June 27

The Budget Committee of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold a one day meeting on Friday, June 27. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the main conference room of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s Nashville office in the Ellington Agriculture Center.

The public is invited to attend.


Three Popular Waterfowl Hunting Areas Have New Regulations

Hunting regulations have been changed on Gooch Unit E, Meeman-Shelby State Park, and White Oak (Lebanon Pond area) Wildlife Management Areas.  The duck hunting on these areas, prior to the change, was on a first come first serve basis. 2014 Waterfowl Blind Permit Drawings Will Be Aug. 2

Tennessee’s long-standing tradition of hand-drawn duck blind drawings will be held at the regular sites across the state on Saturday, Aug. 2. Registration for the 2014 drawings will be held from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. and the drawings will begin at 10 a.m. at most locations. Chattanooga Choo Choo Adding Clubs, Restaurants In $7 Million Renovation

The historic Chattanooga Choo Choo is adding clubs and restaurants in a $7 million renovation, it was announced in front of the South Market Street landmark on Monday morning. Man, 21, Arrested In Hidden Camera Case

An arrest has been made in a case in which a hidden camera was apparently placed in several local restrooms. Chattanooga Police last Sunday, received from a citizen a hidden camera that apparently had been placed by an unknown suspect in the men’s restroom at the Chattanooga Billiards Club downtown.  The footage from the camera was reviewed by Investigators with the ...
