Exum Gallery Show Opens June 27

The summer Sunday Eucharist at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 805 West 7th St., will be at 9:15 a.m. in the Yo Room.  Volunteers are needed to sign up to bring snacks and to preach. If you can help with either ministry, please email Mary Gardner White at white@stpaulschatt.org.  Dress is casual.
 
The Exum Gallery Show opening reception will be Friday, June 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. The St. Paul’s Arts Committee invites you to Skyworks.
This exhibit features works by The North Georgia Skypainters Society. Skypainters is a group of eight local painters who come together in workshops to “interpret with paint the marvelous ever-changing shapes and moods of the sky.” Their mission is to “encourage others to gaze upward more often and enjoy the ethereal, ephemeral beauty of the sky.” Artwork from St. Paul's Arts Camp will also be on display.


Homecoming Service To Be Held June 10 At Keith Baptist Church

The Testimony Quartet will be singing at Keith Baptist Church, 1573 Keith Road in the Ringgold/Tunnel Hill area, during their Homecoming Service on Sunday, June 10 at 11 a.m. The concert is free, but a love offering will be received. Chattanooga Man Who Served Time For Attempted Murder Now Facing Armed Robbery Charge

A Chattanooga man who earlier served time for an attempted first-degree murder is now facing an armed robbery count. Garion Devilliar Lewis Jr., 33, of 6409 Rosemary Dr., is charged with aggravated robbery as well as drug and gun counts. State Seeking 1st-Degree Murder Conviction Against Donaldson For Killing Son-In-Law

The state is seeking a first-degree murder conviction against 57-year-old Glen Allen Donaldson for killing his son-in-law. Prosecutor Crystle Carrion told a jury in the courtroom of Judge Don Poole on Tuesday that there was no evidence that self-defense was involved in the slaying of Adam Levi, who was 39.
