Siskin In Need Of Volunteers

Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is looking for several Volunteer Telephone Operators at the main campus in downtown Chattanooga.   The duties include answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate extensions. Volunteers are needed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday thru Friday.    

The volunteer must have good verbal communication skills and the ability to read, problem solve and physically use a phone (with a headset if necessary).

By volunteering for a minimum of eight hours per week, volunteers will have free access to the use of the Fitness Center located on the Siskin Hospital campus.  Volunteers are also eligible for a free meal the day they work for volunteering at least a half day. 

Volunteer candidates are required to provide two written letters of recommendation to be considered.

Erlanger Health System's net patient revenue is up $20.6 million over the prior year as market share continues to grow, the Erlanger board finance committee was told Monday.
