As a loyal Republican voter, I believe Gwen Tidwell, a Democrat, is the best choice for Criminal Court clerk. I am supporting Ms. Tidwell because her 20 years of service makes her more qualified than her opponent.
Furthermore, I placed her re-election signs in the East Brainerd area and within a few days her signs are being removed while other political signs remain in the same area. I would hope that her opponent is not removing her signs as and act of desperation.
In my personal opinion he has not been truthful in his representation of Ms. Tidwell. I understand politics can be dirty and people will misrepresent themselves just for the sake of personal gain.
