Bravo To Soddy Daisy For Setting Aside Scenic Area

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

Bravo to the city of Soddy-Daisy on your acquisition of 285 acres at Big Soddy Gulch.  According to Wikipedia "The Wilderness Act is well known for its succinct and poetic definition of wilderness: 'A wilderness, in contrast with those areas where man and his own works dominate the landscape, is hereby recognized as an area where the earth and its community of life are untrammeled by man, where man himself is a visitor who does not remain.'"

May your insight and wisdom guard and protect its natural wildlife, waterfalls, and untouched mountain streams.
