Bobby Coyle Rejoins Chattanooga Lookouts

The Chattanooga Lookouts announced today (Friday) that outfielder Bobby Coyle has joined the team from extended spring training. The 25-year old lefty played briefly for Chattanooga in 2012-2013. He will be in uniform tonight when the Lookouts complete their series with Pensacola at AT&T Field. Game time is 7:15 p.m.


UTC Softball Beats Evansville 6-5 In Final Day Of Frost Classic

 Trailing three different times in the game, the Chattanooga Mocs softball team fought off every deficit to claim a 6-5 victory over Evansville in the final day of the Frost Classic at Frost Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Georgia Northwestern Wins Over Dalton State, 46-41

One of the most successful seasons in Lady Bobcat history ended in fine fashion  Friday  night at the Rossville Athletic Center as Georgia Northwestern held off the Dalton State College club team, 46-41, to put a cap on a winning season. Police Call Incident At Hamilton Place Mall "Aggravated Riot"; One Juvenile Injured During Stampede

Chattanooga Police are terming an incident at Hamilton Place Mall on Saturday night an "aggravated riot."   Police said there has been no confirmation that any shots were fired, but there was a stampede out of the mall after word spread of a gun incident.   One juvenile was injured and taken to the hospital during the panic and scramble from the mall.   ... Chattanooga Student Leaders Plan Action Against Gun Violence

Students from across Hamilton County gathered at 901 Lindsay St. on Sunday to discuss the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting and make plans to take action against gun violence.
