Domingo Reyna Arrested For Breaking Into Girlfriend's House Twice And Stealing Dog

Friday, June 27, 2014 - by Hollie Webb

A man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after police say he broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and stole her dog the previous night.

The woman said Domingo Reyna, 19, then broke in again the next night. She said he had not lived at the residence for over two weeks.

Police were first called when it was reported that Reyna had broken in and made a suicide threat. When they arrived, they heard a woman screaming inside the house.

After they made entry, police said Reyna attempted to flee. The woman told police he had broken in only minutes before their arrival. She also said he had taken the phone from her when she had tried to call for help.

Bond for Reyna was set at $6,000. He was charged with aggravated burglary.

It took the Hamilton County School board nine months before the group hired a search firm to find a new superintendent.
