The Food Works restaurant in North Chattanooga will be closed indefinitely after an early morning fire.
The blaze broke out shortly before 3 a.m. at the restaurant in a portion of the old knitting mill on Manufacturers Road.
Fire officials said there was debris in the venting system that clogged up and caused the fire.
There was heavy smoke damage in the multi-story brick building.
Food Works opened in the spring of 2006.
According to the restaurant website, it has been planning a new location "very soon."
