A Chattanooga woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 near Dalton, Ga., on Wednesday morning, and two others were injured.
Killed was Kenniqua Johnson, 26.
Famica Hill, 32, was airlifted to Erlanger Hospital.
LaKendra Taylor, 34, who was in the back seat, was transported to Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.
The Georgia State Patrol said none of the women were wearing seat belts when their 2000 Ford Crown Victoria went off the freeway and down an embankment.The car rolled twice before landing on its top.
The three women were ejected in the 5:30 a.m. wreck on I-75 North at mile marker 337between Rocky Face and Tunnel Hill.
The patrol said the back left tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control. It has not been determined who was driving.
Authorities said the women would have all likely survived had they been wearing seat belts.
