1 Person Shot In Cleveland; Gwendolyn Johnson Charged

One person was shot in Cleveland, Tn., on Wednesday night.

Gwendolyn Johnson. has been charged with two counts of attempted second-degree homicide. She is being held without bond at the Bradley County Justice Center. 

Cleveland Police Department officers responded to the shooting at 8:33 p.m.  

Officials said a short time after the incident, "At the present time, we have identified one victim with a gunshot wound."

The location is near Mimosa Drive.

Witnesses said they heard gunshots and then heard two cars drive off.

Officers were able to stop one of the vehicle near Cleveland High School. A passenger in that car had a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to Skyridge Medical Center.

Other witnesses told of seeing another car pull into a driveway with three men getting out of it.

The name of the person shot in the leg has not been released.
