Orlando Evans Arrested For Selling Crack After Several Controlled Buys

Federal authorities have arrested Orlando J. Evans on charges of selling crack cocaine after making several controlled buys from him.

Agents said marked money used in the deals was on Evans when he was arrested on Monday.

Authorities said, "Evans had in his possession approximately half of the marked money used to purchase the crack cocaine on this date. Specifically, Evans had $105 of the $200 used in the drug deal. One of the other individuals had the other $95 in his possession."

Agents said Evans admitted to the crack sales.  

Evans appeared before Federal Magistrate Bill Carter on Wednesday.

He will remain in custody pending the outcome of his case.
