New Police Chief Fred Fletcher told members of the Downtown Chamber of Commerce at a breakfast meeting that he had been to the scene earlier and needed to get back out to that crime-ridden section.

He said he plans to be very visible in the community and wants to work closely with residents from all parts of town.

Mayfield, you’ll remember, ran against the two in the last race for the District ... (click for more)

The first inning came and went innocuously, but the second showed the first offensive outburst of the night as the ... (click for more)
