Mark Butler Is Keynote Speaker At Adult Leadership Walker County Alumni Dinner

The Adult Leadership Walker County Task Force will host the 2014 Adult Leadership Walker County Alumni Dinner featuring keynote speaker Georgia Commissioner of Labor Mark Butler, at the Walker County Civic Center on Thursday, Aug. 21.  

Since becoming Georgia’s ninth commissioner of labor on Jan. 10, 2011 Mr. Butler has been committed to reshaping the way the state views the operations of a labor department and its relationship to economic development and the private sector, said officials.  During his presentation he will provide updates and introduce new initiatives concerning the Department’s work with education, business, and more.   

The event is open to everyone; however, graduates and task force members are encouraged to attend sharing memories and networking with classmates and attendees. 

The dinner will be Aug. 21 form 6:30-9 p.m. at the Walker County Civic Center. 

The cost to attend is $40 per individual or $350 for a corporate table, with early registration discounts available to those who register on or before Aug. 1.  All registrations must be made prior to Aug. 14 at midnight; no RSVPs will be accepted after this time.  Chamber Members may request to be invoiced, however non-chamber members must pay via Visa or MasterCard at time of registration.   All who RSVP are required to pay the amount indicated; no refunds will be given for cancelations.  Tickets will mailed to registrant on Aug. 15; ticket required for entry.
