William Clifton “Bill” Moore, III, 81, of East Ridge, Tennessee, died on Friday, July 11, 2014 in a local health care facility.  

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion Post 95.  Bill was the owner and operator of  B&B Body Shop and Bill Moore Wrecker Service for over 40 years and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Buddy Moore and Charles “Cotton” Moore and his sister, Sylvia Jean White.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Mabee Damron and her husband (Tim) Damron and Cherie White and her two sons, Michael and Jordan White; sister, Lois Morgante and Nadine Holtcamp; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Melody Kornas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 8214 East Brainerd Road with Dr. Ronnie Mitchell officiating.  Burial will be in Griffin Cemetery in Whitwell, Tn.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, July 14, at the funeral home.
