Gloria R. Jackson, 83, of Cleveland, Tennessee formerly of Denver, Colorado, died on July 10, 2014 at her home.
She was born April 22, 1931 in Kansas City, Mo., daughter of the late Andrew and Lucille Stevenson.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew Stevenson and Roy “Chipper” Stevenson and a sister, Coralie “Toni” Allen.
Gloria was a member of the Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. Beta Nu Chapter, Denver.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Jackson and his wife, Sonya, grandchildren, Megan Filyaw, Alonza Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Victoria Jackson, and Jolee Filyaw, great-grandsons, Jayden Filyaw and Kedin Clift, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday.
