Loggins, William "Allen" (LaFayette)

William "Allen" Loggins, 68, of LaFayette, Georgia, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014.

He was born in LaFayette, to the late Jessie L. and Velma L. Roberson Loggins. He was a lifelong resident of LaFayette and was a retired truck driver. He had driven for Salem Carpet, Imperial Cup and Bond Ware. He enjoyed playing golf, water skiing, going to classic car shows and working on classic cars.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Hasting, brothers, Charles LeRoy, Rex and Clayton Loggins.

He is survived by his daughters, Deirdre Holcomb of Ringgold, Buffy Loggins of Chattanooga, sister, Fannie Reeves of LaFayette, grandchildren, Amanda Holcomb Johnson, Corey Loggins, Taylor Holcomb, Riylee Grace Mann, great-granddaughter, Emma Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 14, from 5–9 p.m., and Tuesday, after 10 a.m. before the service.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, in the chapel with Reverend Jack Greene officiating. Burial will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens – LaFayette.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Homes-LaFayette Chapel - LaFayette.
