Mitchell Medalist In U.S. Am Qualifier

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Keith Mitchell shot 8-under 134 for 36 holes and earned medalist honors here Monday in a U.S. Am qualifier at the Cleveland Country Club.

The former University of Georgia golfer who prepped at Baylor School, earned one of three entries for the national championship that starts Aug. 11 at Atlanta Athletic Club.

Grabbing the other two spots were UT-Martin sophomore Ben Reeves and incoming teammate Hunter Richardson.
