Eddie Middleton Presents Concert And Testimony Sunday At Rechoboth Baptist

Eddie Middleton, formerly of "NewSong" will be presenting his testimony and singing during the morning worship service with a concert during the evening service this Sunday at  Rechoboth Baptist Church, 12622 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy.
 
Mr. Middleton, one of the most unique, soulful voices in contemporary Christian music recently began his solo career. For 13 years, he was a member of the contemporary Christian group NewSong.
Eddie and NewSong recorded seven albums, their latest All Around the World," produced four No. 1 and two top five singles. NewSong was nominated for the 1993 Dove Award Group of the Year."
 
He recorded with CBS/Epic Records; and, in 1978, he was voted #1 New Male Voice in Record World and #5 New Male Voice in Cashbox.

A man who agents said was dealing large quantities of meth from his East Ridge residence has been sentenced to serve 168 months in federal prison. Kenneth Lemons appeared before Judge Curtis Collier. Chattanooga Man With 5 Violent Felonies Gets 30 Years In Prison

A Chattanooga man with five violent felonies on his record has been sentenced to serve 30 years in prison. Demetrius Joiner, 30, was given a 20-year sentence by Judge Curtis Collier after he was ruled to be an Armed Career Criminal.
