One person was killed and another critically injured in Cleveland on Tuesday night when a car was T-boned by a pickup truck.
Bradley County EMS responded two ambulances to the crash in the 6900 block of North Lee Highway near Hendricks Lane just before 9:30 p.m.
When EMS crews arrived on the scene they found a two-vehicle collision. A car had been struck in the passenger side by what appeared to be a Ford F-250 pickup truck.
Upon the assessment of the scene and patient evaluations, it was discovered that the adult female passenger of the car was deceased.
The adult male driver was injured and transported to a local hospital where the patient received lifesaving stabilization measures. The patient was then flown to a level 1 trauma center in Chattanooga via medical helicopter.
The two occupants of the pickup truck were evaluated on the scene and did not require transport. EMS was assisted by Bradley County Fire and Rescue.
