It's disheartening when a business resorts to what are virtually scare tactics to garner public support. The SoundSupportCHA petition is just that sort of effort.
Chattanooga's noise ordinance needs to be changed. It is not effective as written. We are trusting that our city leaders will be stewards of not only successful commerce but the health and welfare of Chattanooga citizens.
We should not be a community that is divided by decibels. We should be united in support of vibrant local businesses and we should be united in the fight for safe, strong neighborhoods.
Contact your council member and/or come to the July 29 Council meeting and let your voice be heard on this issue.
