Jerry Lee Eledge
Jerry Lee Eledge, 65, of Georgetown, Tn., formerly of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014.
A native and longtime resident of the Chattanooga area, Mr. Eledge was a co-owner of Eledge Wood Flooring and a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn. He loved hunting, fishing, and dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Daisy Eledge, sons, Clifford and Terry Lee Eledge, and sister, Teresa Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Eledge; children, Elizabeth McCary, Chattanooga, Virginia Peters, Tunnel Hill, and Jerry Lee Eledge, Jr., Chattanooga; step-children, Paul Blevins, Mook Brown, and Sharane Brown, all of Georgetown; eight grandchildren, five sisters, one brother, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 12:00 noon in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Gary Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
